Ross Estate Agents are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Business Administrator to join their busy office in Barrow-in-Furness. This role is ideal for someone who is keen to develop administrative skills within a fast-paced estate agency environment while working towards a recognised qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Typing and preparing property brochures and marketing materials.
- Producing and updating property wall cards.
- Answering incoming telephone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Chasing up Terms of Business and required documentation from clients.
- Requesting, checking and processing client identification (ID).
- Completing Ant-Money Laundering (AML) checks accurately and in line with regulations.
- Assisting with general office administration tasks including filing and data entry.
- Supporting the winder team with administrative duties as required.
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive client information appropriately.
Skills & Personal Qualities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Willingness to learn and take direction.
- Ability to manage tasks in a busy office environment.
- Basic IT skills (e.g Microsoft Word, email, data entry)
- Professional, reliable and punctual.
Working hours
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
Saturdays - 9:00am-12:00pm (1 in 3 Saturdays)
