Clark Door are looking to appoint an Electro-Mechanical Engineering Fitter Apprentice to join their growing team in September. This apprenticeship is designed for individuals aiming to develop a comprehensive skill set in both electrical and mechanical engineering disciplines.
This role offers a balance of practical, on-the-job experience with structured off-the-job training delivered by a recognised training provider. The chosen apprentice with work alongside skilled professionals, gaining the experience and technical knowledge required to become competent electro-mechanical fitters.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and follow engineering drawings, diagrams and specifications for required components or assemblies.
- Plan work activities, including identifying resources, equipment and tooling requirements.
- Produce individual components such as keys. pipework, threading, wiring looms, interfacing parts, motors and wiring cables.
- Re-furbish components as needed.
- Perform quality checks and adjustments on components or assemblies against required specifications, including testing and calibrating.
- Identify and resolve problems with components or assemblies through fault diagnosis.
- Comply with all safety, quality and environmental procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Attend off-the-job training sessions and complete coursework and assessments as required.
