Hoad Medical Practice are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Administration Apprentice to join their team this September!
As a Business Administration Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience supporting the day-to-day running of the practice while working towards a nationally recognised Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship.
You will work alongside experienced clinical and administrative staff, developing your skills and confidence in a busy healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to clinical and non-clinical staff
- Maintain and update patient records accurately
- Handle telephone and face-to-face enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with appointment scheduling and correspondence
- Prepare reports, documents and meeting minutes
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow GDPR and NHS policies
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects and initiatives
Training & Development
As part of the apprenticeship, you will:
- Work towards a Level 3 Business Administrator qualification
- Receive a combination of workplace learning and structured coursework
- Benefit from support and mentoring from experienced team members
- Develop practical administration and communication skills
- Gain valuable experience that can lead to a career in healthcare administration

- Confident using basic IT, including Microsoft Office, email and the internet

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday – 0800 to 1830 – on a rota
