Home & Finance General Ltd Ulverston are looking to recruit a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice to join their team in September!
Established in 1988, the team at Home and Finance has many years’ experience providing practical advice on buying, selling and investments in rental markets and rental management. Financial planning advice, Mortgage services to people, families and businesses in Cumbria and the surrounding area.
Key Responsibilities
To acquire knowledge and experience by undertaking formal and practical training in all areas of the business, and then apply your knowledge and skills to support the Company’s vision in developing and growing a successful specialist financial business serving both private and corporate clients.
To provide excellent customer service to new and existing clients, covering all aspects of their financial arrangements; to advise, arrange and secure the appropriate cover and / or deal with customer enquiries.
Apprentices should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and be highly organised. They also need to have achieved academic success at school and/or college and be able to dedicate time and energy to achieving formal qualifications.
Applicants will be considering pursuing a career in finance and be working towards gaining Chartered qualifications. An in-depth training programme will also be delivered in-house for Insurance Trainees.
Tasks will be varied but may include:
- Attend in house training sessions to learn about products, systems and procedures
- Arranging insurance cover
- Dealing with customer queries
- Dealing with renewals
- Helping change existing policies
- Processing adjustments
- General admin duties
- Liaising with insurance professionals
