Level 3 Teaching Assistant - Monkrwray Junior School

Monkwray Junior School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and motivated Teaching Assistant Apprentice to join their team this September!

Key Responsibilities

• Support teachers in delivering planned learning activities and classroom programmes.
• Assist with monitoring, assessing, and recording pupil progress and behaviour.
• Provide feedback and encouragement to pupils to support attainment and confidence.
• Prepare and organise classroom resources and learning materials.
• Promote pupils’ social, emotional, and physical wellbeing.
• Encourage inclusion and independent learning for all pupils.
• Supervise pupils during classroom activities, educational visits, and school events.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, secure, and positive learning environment.
• Support classroom displays and organisation of learning spaces.
• Work collaboratively with staff, parents/carers, and external agencies where appropriate.
• Follow all school policies including safeguarding, confidentiality, health & safety, and child protection procedures.
