MOET Level 3 Electrical - Holmen Board and Paper

Holmen Board and Paper are seeking a motivated MOET Level 3 Electrical Apprentice to join their team for an immediate start! 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Learning to maintain and repair machinery, equipment, and systems

• Diagnosing and fixing faults to minimise downtime

• Developing skills in electrical, mechanical, and control systems

• Working alongside experienced engineers in a fast-paced, industrial environment

• Studying towards your Level 3 Engineering Apprenticeship

Requirements 

• A passion for engineering and problem-solving

• Strong practical skills with great attention to detail 

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Efficiently execute planned (preventative/work order) and reactive (breakdown) maintenance within your area or central focus by:

  • Taking ownership of assigned tasks

  • Diagnosing faults and taking responsible/approved action to rectify issues

  • Using your skills to maintain the mill in an optimum and safe condition

  • Making skilled repairs and adjustments to support production needs

  • Operating vehicles, equipment, and tools for which you are trained and qualified

  • Using Engineering Management Systems to source parts and data

  • Timely reporting on routine work and work orders, including creating new work orders as required

Safety

• Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental standards, policies, and legislation within your work environment and tasks

• Adhere to and support the Permit/Isolation system

Leadership & Communication

• Work towards achieving personal, departmental, and company objectives

• Liaise with peers, internal departments, and external personnel as needed to ensure successful work completion

• Promote continuous improvement initiatives

Training & Development

• Provide job cover and support shift work as required and agreed

• Receive instruction, training, and development, and commit to applying these new skills
