Bransty Primary School are looking for 2 teaching assistant apprentices to join their team this September!
As an apprentice teaching assistant at Bransty Primary School, you will serve as a supportive role in the school setting, primarily assisting experienced teachers in classroom management, lesson preparation, and pupil engagement. This role will include support with SEND pupils in a classroom environment. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and seeking hands on experience in teaching environments.
Key responsibilities
- implement planned learning activities/teaching programmes as agreed with the teacher, adjusting activities according to pupil's responses.
- Support the teacher in monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress and behaviour in order to contribute to the planning and evaluation of learning activities
- Provide feedback to pupils under the guidance of the teacher
- Support learning by arranging/providing resources for lessons/activities under the direction of the teacher
- Support pupils' social, emotional and physical wellbeing, reporting concerns to the appropriate person
- Cover for breakfast and afterschool club provision as and where required

Salary
£7.55 per hour
Working hours:
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 3:15pm
Including breakfast and after school club (8am-4pm)
