Eden Housing Association is a successful small independent Registered Provider of affordable homes with a rural focus.
We were established in 1997 and operate chiefly across North Cumbria owning and/or managing around 1,982 homes. We are looking for a Business Administration apprentice to join our team for an immediate start.
Key duties
Monitor and manage the office administration task list which includes:
- Scanning and photocopying
- Processing correspondence
- Ordering stationery and replenishing office supplies
- Inputting data onto the housing management platform Orchard
- Preparation of CBL application packs and annual reviews
- Supporting monthly star surveys
Housing &Support
Assist in the delivery of the Association's customer services as required
- Deal with routine enquiries as the initial source of advice for tenants and customers
- Provide basic housing and support advice to tenants and customers
- Assist with the administration of the Choice Based Lettings system.
- Deal with routine housing, support and rent enquiries
- Administer rent arrears recovery
- Bank payments received through the post and in reception
- Assist in taking and dealing with repair requests
- General Assistance with all Housing Management functions
Corporate Services
- Manage the association's meeting room bookings and provide appropriate services to meetings
- Ensure GDPR processes are followed
- Maintain all communal areas/offices
- Service meetings with refreshments when requested
- Ensuring adequate provision of refreshments for colleagues and visitors
Rate of pay
£7.55 per hour
Hours of work
Monday- Friday 9am – 5pm
