Tiffen & Co Ltd Carlisle are looking to recruit a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice to join their team for an immediate start!

Key Responsibilities 
  • Liaising with vendors and viewers to arrange vendor accompanied and agency accompanied viewings via email, telephone and within the office, ensuring these are booked into the system with accuracy.
  •  Negotiating offers to purchase property with vendors and prospective purchasers via email, telephone and within the office. Liaising with solicitors, other agents and mortgage providers to check validity of offers and checking sale chains. 
  • Ongoing liaison with solicitors, purchasers and vendors to monitor sale progression once a property is sold, including valuation and chain queries. 
  • Generation of Market Appraisal/Valuation and Mortgage Appointments and the booking in of these appointments into the system. 
  • Undertaking viewings at properties with prospective purchasers, ensuring the property is shown to its best potential.  
  • Dealing with general property enquires. 
  • Adding applicants to our database system accurately ensuring that full information is obtained so they are registered properly, identification and cross selling of leads such as market appraisals and mortgage appointments. 
  • Ordering of Energy Performance certificates. 
  • Ordering and management of electronic anti money laundering checks. 
  • Obtaining conveyancing quotes from local solicitors and instructing successful referrals. 
  • Checking of new property files to ensure that these have been listed to the market in accordance with company policy. 
  • Obtaining and reporting of feedback from viewings to vendors. 
  • Monthly vendor contact calls to discuss the marketing of the property. 
  • Property inspections for vacant properties. 
  • Other general administration within the estate agency as required.

Working hours 
Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00
 
 
 

Qualifications

Minimum grade 4 in Maths and English or equivalent.
